Privacy Policy

Hypnogram ("the app") is a music-visualizer app. We designed it to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what is and isn't collected.

What stays on your device

The audio tracks and cover images you add are processed entirely on your device to generate the visuals and exported videos. We do not upload your audio, your images, or your exported videos to any server, and we do not store them.

AI Director

If you use the optional "Ask AI" feature, the short text prompt you typeis sent to OpenAI to generate a composition, and the result is returned to your device. Only the text you type is sent, never your audio, images, or any account identifier. OpenAI's handling of that text is governed by their privacy policy. If you don't use Ask AI, no data leaves your device.

What we do NOT collect

No accounts, names, emails, or passwords.
No location, contacts, or device identifiers.
No analytics, tracking, or advertising.

Photo & media access

The app uses the system pickers to let you choose a track and a cover image. It only receives the specific files you select; it does not browse your library.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
